Beverly Peck returned to her loving Savior on December 3, 2025. She was born on September 15, 1931, to Maston C. Barron and Jessie B. Stewart in Hollywood, California. She was an only child until the age of 14, when her brother, Clayne, was born.
As a child, Beverly’s family moved between Idaho, Oregon, and California as her father sought work during the Depression years. During World War II, she again lived in California, where she met movie stars and developed a lifelong love for fashion, glamour, and the arts. Upon returning to Boise, she attended Boise High School, graduating in 1949.
Marriage & Family
Beverly married her high school sweetheart, Ted C. Peck, in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 19, 1953, shortly after his return from service in the Korean conflict. She faithfully supported Ted through his education at BYU and later in dental school in Oregon.
In 1961, they returned to Boise, Idaho with four of their eventual seven children. Their family grew to include Robert (Jeanie), David (Carol), Daniel, Anthony (Pennie), Timothy (Carolee), Rhonda, and Aaron (Katie).
Talents & Interests
Beverly loved to sing, paint, quilt, and work on genealogy. She expressed her love by painting portraits of her children and grandchildren. A lifelong learner, she was always working to improve her talents and develop new skills.
Faith & Service
As a young girl, Beverly developed a deep love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a devoted student of His teachings and His life of service. Beverly served faithfully—alongside her husband—in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest legacy is her service to her family.
Survived By
Beverly is survived by her brother, Clayne Barron (Vicki); her seven children; 21 of her 22 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family, who are deeply grateful to her caregivers—especially Elaine, who provided tremendous help in Beverly’s final years.
